My original pieces are inspired by the time I spend in nature. I view the outdoors as a portal to escape from the distractions of society. I love scavenging for mushrooms, critters and different plant species on my hikes and drawing inspiration from the photos I take. 
I enjoy creating surrealist concepts that inspire a feeling of whimsy. When putting a brush to the canvas, I like to explore a fantasy world and bring unlikely ideas to life. Bright colors instantly make me happy, so I carefully mix my paints to create a sense of magic radiating from the canvas.
